Eduardo Camavinga was born on the 10th of November 2002 in Angola to Congolese parents. His parents moved him and his 5 siblings to France, when Eduardo was just 2 years old.
Camavinga later joined the Rennes youth system at the age of 11. And at the age of 16 he became the youngest player to make his debut. He made his debut for the French national team in a in a 4–2 win over Croatia in the UEFA Nations League, becoming the youngest player to play for French national team since Maurice Gastiger in 1914.
He made a big money move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2021, after receiving interest from several teams across Europe while still being 18 years old. He scored on his debut for Real Madrid, but since then he has found it difficult to break into Real Madrids iconic midfield trio of Casemiro, Luka Modric and Toni kroos under Carlo Ancelloti.
Camavinga is a versatile defensive midfielder he is averaging a total 2.8 tackles and 0.7 interceptions per game. And just like every great midfielder Camavinga is a good passer of the ball. He had a pass accuracy of 89% in his final season in Ligue 1.
He will need to work on his aggression, because he has a tendency to accumulate yellow cards.
It is very clear that Camavinga has lots of potential, still only 20 years old. And could be a main stay in the Real Madrid and French National Team for years to come.
