2026-NAWC
Canada Women’s national soccer team has released their pre-Olympic Camp squad list ahead of two preparation games in Spain. After some disappointing results against Women’s soccer powerhouses America and Brazil in the 2021 SheBelieves Cup the squad will look to bounce back against Czech Republic and Brazil in Cartagena, Spain on June 11th and 14th respectively.
Canada has the marquee game of the opening day of the Women’s competition, playing the hosts Japan on July 21st at 630 AM EST. It will be a high-pressure game for the hosts and Canada will look to take advantage of that and get off to a positive start. After back-to-back Olympics coming home with a bronze medal, there will also be a huge weight of expectation the shoulders of the Canadian players. This is why it is so important for them to get off to a good start against a strong Japan team. There is no doubt Canada will be one of the teams to watch in the tournament, but can they overcome the Americans as they have failed to do so many times in the past?
Below is the link to the squad list announced last week. We will update you when the squad for the official games is announced.
